This pre-maxillary tooth from T-rex measures some 1.9 inches (4.8 cm) in straight-line length and is a natural and unrestored specimen, with only reassembly of the tip, resulting in this excellent form. This example displays nice luster, fine serrations, excellent color, and classic shape. From the Hell Creek Formation in Montana, this specimen has some minor erosion to the preserved enamel near the base and exhibits an obvious, but reattached, tip. This is a quite nice mid-sized T-rex tooth with a lot to like about it. The conical offering is classic "rex" and, not surprisingly, out of Hell Creek.
