    Description

    Polished "Gem" Dinosaur Bone Pair
    Jurassic
    Morrison Formation
    Utah, USA

This "matched" pair actually consists of two unique irregular slabs which are, of course, quite similar in appearance. One is slightly longer, while the other is a little thicker. Regardless, they clearly came from the same original bone source. While "gem" Dinosaur bone with this intensity of red coloration coupled with such a high quality of vascular preservation is superlative on those merits, each member of this pair features an incredible crystalline core that serves as a "window" in the center of each slab. Bordered by an irregular line of bright mustard, the fossil bones also exhibit some blue and gray hues over the faces. This pair had a unique shape with a sizable "extension" on about a quarter of each oval. This pair is an interesting and unique example of "gem" Dinosaur bone. The rough sides of each have appeal as well.
    Overall Measurements: 7.48 x 5.12 x 0.37 inches (19.00 x 13.00 x 0.95 cm)
    Offered at no reserve.

[Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]
