This ancient vertebra is from an Edmontosaurus annectens, a species of flat-headed and duck-billed dinosaurs that lived during the Cretaceous period. This specimen has an unusual morphological shape, and the exposed porous nature of the once-organic material is displayed. The offering is from the famous Hell Creek Formation, in this case, out of North Dakota, known for its abundance of dinosaur finds.
