This vertebra represents a member of the unique variety of duck-billed dinosaurs known as hadrosaurs. This fossil from an Edmontosaurus is from the famed Hell Creek Formation and dates to the Cretaceous. The weathered brown bone is mottled in a variety of hues and was restored from pieces and then stabilized.
