Thescelosaurus(?), Hell Creek Formation
Harding County, South, USA
1.78 x 1.43 x 1.24 inches (4.52 x 3.62 x 3.14 cm)
This virtually complete Dinosaur vertebra was (likely) from a plant-eating ornithopod, possibly from the Thescelosaurus, which was a heavily-built, bipedal animal. Regardless, a nice bone from any Dinosaur is something special. The Cretaceous "cork" is fairly lightweight with a rather "bleached" surface primarily featuring a two-tone appearance of creamy white and putty tan. The hourglass shape adds to its charm.
