Description

Dinosaur Trackway
Grallator sp.
Early Jurassic
Portland Formation
South Hadley, Massachusetts, USA

This three-toed Dinosaur Trackway consists of a single footprint of a Grallator known only in the fossil record from such trace fossils known as an ichnogenus. This deep mold imprint has been dyed to accentuate the contrast against a green-brown matrix. This is a nice example out of a classic formation and locality.
