This elegant and naturally sculptural long bone is the pubis from an ornithopod Dinosaur. With a custom black metal stand, the bone is presented on an angle to display the piece in its best light. With surprisingly smooth texture and distinctive shape, the piece out of the renowned Hell Creek Formation of Montana has a mottled brownish coloration and is in generally good condition. This example has considerable stabilization, but the restoration is relatively minimal, resulting in one very nice Dinosaur fossil. From an iconic locality, and naturally beautiful, this "Mesozoic Marvel" will surely impress when displayed in any environment. The bone itself measures a significant 19 inches (48 cm) long and is fairly complete, with only minor wear on the two exposed terminations.
