This is one nearly ideal specimen of Coprolite, or "fossil feces" - in this case, dinosaur dung - out of the Morrison Formation of Utah, dating to the Jurassic. This bona fide trace fossil offers a polished window face that reveals glorious colors, including tan, taupe, red, and blue. The reverse is unpolished, offering a glimpse of the material in its 'rough' state.
