Wow! There is really no other way to accurately begin a description of this specimen, which is obviously a massive Dinosaur claw. The fossil, measuring over 8 inches (20 cm) in length and over 9 inches (23 cm) on the curve, is a behemoth and very significant. Larger claws usually have some level of restoration and repair, as with this specimen that features some surface patching, fracture fills and crack repairs, but the immense size, incredible form and pronounced curvature make for a superb offering. The manus (killing) claw is from a Spinosaurus dating to the famed Cretaceous rocks of the Kem Kem Formation in Morocco. This is what a Dinosaur claw should be, in terms of size and shape, and this hook claw has a nice groove.
