The coastal cliffs of the United Kingdom hosts thick layers of Jurassic rock that contain marine fossils of that era. The present specimen is of a fine ammonite that sits in its original limestone nodule, which has been carved into a more aesthetic shape. The ammonite features fine sutures and ribbing and measures 3 ½ x 3 inches on the sculpted limestone measuring 10 x 8 x 2 inches.
