This somewhat free-form piece of Ammolite has sections of greenish-gold and reddish-gold hues. The fossil material, also classified as a gemstone, comes from the fossilized shells of Ammonites occurring in a few localities. This chunk is rather hefty and really needs to be rotated in the light to release its full potential.
