This vivid slab of Ammolite preserves the fossilized shell of an ancient Ammonite, the surface flashing with spectral hues of green, violet, and fiery orange. The iridescence, produced by the microstructure of the shell, gives the piece a shifting play of color that recalls stained glass fractured by time. On one side, the polished face reveals a kaleidoscope of interlocking patterns, while the reverse retains more of the shell's natural form, the ridged edge of the Ammonite still discernible. Together, the dual surfaces balance raw fossil texture with refined gemlike brilliance. A rare specimen of haunting beauty, this Ammolite is destined to be the centerpiece of any collection drawn to the unusual.
