Description
Ammolite FossilPlacenticeras sp.
Cretaceous
Bearpaw Formation
Alberta, Canada
4.33 x 3.42 x 1.50 inches (11.00 x 8.69 x 3.80 cm)
A kaleidoscope of fiery orange, electric green, and flashes of violet ripples across the surface of this polished Ammolite slab, cut from the fossilized shell of an ancient marine Ammonite. Sourced from the Bearpaw Formation in Alberta, Canada, this rare material is celebrated for exceptional iridescence and vibrant natural color. Fracture lines across the surface create a mosaic effect that enhances the overall visual complexity without diminishing the intensity of the color play. The specimen has been carefully shaped and polished to highlight the most striking features while preserving the texture and layering of the original shell. This is a stunning display piece that captures the dramatic beauty of one of the world's most colorful fossil materials.
