This well-preserved slice features a cluster of fossil shrimp accompanied by a tiny, unidentified fossil fish from the renowned Cretaceous deposits of Lebanon. The plate displays five stunning individuals, each exhibiting excellent detail, with delicate appendages and segmented bodies clearly visible. These shrimp lived approximately 95 million years ago in the warm, shallow seas that once covered the region. Specimens from this locality are prized for their preservation and minimal amount of restoration. This is a dynamic and display-worthy example of marine life from the Age of Dinosaurs.
