This nicely preserved Mosasaur tooth exhibits exceptional enamel luster and fine longitudinal ridges running from crown to base. The coloration transitions from warm, amber brown to a lighter tone near the root, accentuating the natural curvature of the fossil. Fine mineralization has maintained its sharp profile and most of its smooth enamel texture, while traces of matrix along the base provide context to its original marine deposit. The specimen exemplifies the power and precision of this formidable marine reptile's dentition.
