The Natural Selection print includes the following text: I have a friend who recently changed apartments. When she moved she took the phone with her, but for one reason or another never got around to getting it turned on. Eventually she ran out of money and whether or not to turn on the phone became a dead issue. Then one night in an especially vivid dream the phone appeared as a luminous, beckoning object. The following morning, prompted by the dream, she dug out the phone and plugged it in. Amazingly, it worked. The only problem is, though she can call out, she can't receive calls because she doesn't know her phone number. Since the chances of finding her number by trial and error out of the immense total of possible combinations is practically zero, she isn't quite sure how to take advantage of this unexpected benevolence. Most recently she has resigned herself to hanging around the apartment waiting for the wrong number that will break the code.
