    KONSTANTIN ALEXEIVITCH KOROVIN (Russian, 1861-1939)
    Portfolio of Six Sketches of Paris
    Pen and ink on paper
    10 x 13-1/2 inches (25.4 x 34.3 cm)
    Each signed and titled

    PROVENANCE:
    Maximovich Family Collection.

    This detailed series of sketches clearly shows the mastery of Korovin. Paris was his domain and he knew it very well. These works have been in this private collection for many years and are emblematic of Korovin's detail work, architecturally complete and precise.

    Condition Report*: Pin holes in various positions along the upper edge of all works, mat burns around edges of all works, moderate areas of surface dirt on all works.  Fair condition.
