    Condition Report*:

    Etching printed in black on cream laid paper; slight overall discoloration and moderate mat burn from a previous mat; remnants of brown paper tape along the top edge; there is a fine, linear 1/8" natural surface variation in the paper, near lower right edge of the plate mark; reversible repair, using wheat starch paste and Japanese tissue, to 1/4" linear (not complex) tear near center of the bottom margin; a richly inked impression.
