    PROVENANCE:
    The artist;
    Maria Tanase, gift from the above;
    Nicolae Capsali, Bucharest, Romania, gift from the above;
    By descent to the present owner.

    We would like to thank Margit Rowell for her gracious assistance in confirming the authenticity of this drawing, which is accompanied by her photo-certificate dated August 30, 2016.

    Condition Report*: Slight abrasions along edges; faint stain in model's curls, upper left quadrant; three faint scratches in upper right background, and one in lower left corner.
