Contemporary Italian artist Augusto Ranocchi is a versatile talent. Originally from Urbino, he has spent most of his artistic career in Rome and has worked as a painter, draftsman, ceramic artist, and sculptor in bronze, wood, and marble. He has explored a wide variety of styles and media in his two-dimensional work, and his work ranges from an elegantly reductive Matisse-like line to a bolder, expressive application of paint. The present lot includes the following works:
All sheets in good condition with some handling wear, occasional surface scuffs, slight time-toning of paper and occasional creases. Tape residue where noted. Ranocchi Rome 1960 (uneven paper edges, tears along perimeter, discoloration from tape residue).
