Wheeler Williams graduated with honors from Yale University and received a Master of Architecture from Harvard in 1937. He studied a the Art Institute of Chicago and the Ecole des Beaux in Paris. While in Paris he exhibited at the Salons des Artistes Francais, 1923-27. This particular piece was cast in Paris and captures four children holding hands running in a circle.
