Condition Report*:
There appears to be mild cracquelure in the white paint to the right of the naval officer's straightened arm, in his cap, and in is pants, and in the woman's kimono sleeve edges. There appears to be small areas of inpaint in the officer's jacket and hair. The varnish appears to have slightly yelowed, comensurate with the painting's age.
