This work is accompanied by a photograph and signed letter of authenticity from the Fondazione Giorgio e isa de Chirico, dated 30 April 2013. According to the foundation, this work was executed circa 1940.
Scattered frame abrasions with flecks of gold gilt along extreme edges; very faint craquelure in sky; stable surface; there does not appear to be inpainting under UV exam.
