    Alexander Joseph Daiwaille (Dutch, 1818-1888)
    A wooded landscape with a drover and livestock on a track (collab. with Eugène Verboeckhoven), 1867
    Oil on canvas
    30-1/4 x 41 inches (76.8 x 104.1 cm)
    Signed and inscribed lower center: A.J. Daiwaille / Eug. Verboeckhoven, animaux
    Inscribed on a label on the stretcher: Inscription copied from back of painting. / Je certifie que le tableau ci-contre est / peint par moi figures et animaux / Eugène Verboeckhoven/ [.] J. Daiwaille / dec. 1867

    Condition Report*: Wax-lined canvas. Under UV light there are a few scattered small areas of inpaint in sky and trees with strengthening to the cow, a couple of the sheep and the drover. Minor inpaint to frame abrasion on the top edge and both side edges. Craquelure stabilized by the relining. Central vertical stretcher bar marks. Framed Dimensions 40 X 50.5 X 4 Inches
