    The above is after Vigee-LeBrun's famous Self Portrait, 1790 that is in the collection of the Uffizi Gallery, Florence, Italy.

    Condition Report*:

    Re-varnished canvas with surface grime and overall craquelure, particularly visible in background and in artist's hat and face; slight frame abrasion along four edges; minor accretions in upper left quadrant and minor scratches to varnish layer in lower left quadrant; under UV examination, 1"-long in-painted strip under artist's brushes, 1/2" patch on her right collar, 2"-long strip on her left collar; 1" area under her right eyebrow, and 1 1/2 x 2" area on her hat; otherwise good condition; frame dimensions:  49 x 41.5".
