Born Anita Rice in Chelsea, Massachusetts, Juanita Rice Marbrook Guccione studied with Hans Hofmann in New York after a lengthy period of time abroad, amassing a large body of work inspired by her surroundings. Her style constantly evolved throughout her lifetime, from cubism and surrealism in the 1930s and 1940s to being more mystical and visionary later.
Overall in excellent condition. Not examined outside frame.
