    Signed and dated lower left: Medearis 1961

    Titled and signed verso: A TALKATIVE DRUNK/ EGG TEMPERA/ Roger Medearis/ 22 x 26

    PROVENANCE:
    The artist;
    Alexander Lester Kreger, Monterey, CA;
    Thence by descent to private collection, Allen, TX.

    Roger Medearis was a pupil of Thomas Hart Benton at the Kansas City Art Institute.

    Condition Report*: Tiny paint chips near signature, on drunk's left shoulder, and in green background, lower right edge; otherwise very good condition; frame dimensions:  33 x 29".
