    Rosenborg was a founding member of the American Abstract Artists group and in the 1930's exhibited with "The Ten", a group of painters including Adolph Gottlieb, Mark Rothko and Milton Avery. Rosenborg instructed Jackson Pollock during his time at the Non-Objective Paintings Museum (The Guggenheim) during the early 1940's.
