    More Information:

    Gary Kuehn is a contemporary painter/sculptor who helped usher in the art movement known as conceptual art. He was from a generation of new artists who opted not to belong to either of the abstract expressionism or constructivism movements.  Instead, they forged a new aesthetic.  Their art would concentrate on materials and on the process of creating the artwork and would be known as post-minimal, process, or conceptual art.  In 1967, this new art movement was the basis for a groundbreaking exhibit in Switzerland titled "When Attitudes Become Form."  Mr. Kuehn's work was included as part of that monumental show.  His work is also included in many private and public museum collections including the Denver Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. 

    Condition Report*: Rippling to the paper.  Pin holes along the edges.  Otherwise in very good condition.  Not examined outside frame.
