    32-1/4 x 48 inches (81.9 x 121.9 cm)
    Signed lower right: Don Edelman

Don Edelman is well-known for working in both paint and sculpture, where the buildup of the composition and an Old Master's appreciation of light grounds a style that ranges from Realism to Abstract to "Whimsical Surrealism." Born in Bowie, Texas and raised in Amarillo, he attended University of Texas Austin through the V-12 program and continued to Washington University and the University of Illinois. A true community builder, Edelman participated in Willy Wong workshops, Visual Art Alliance, Houston Early Texas Art Group, Watercolor Society of Houston, the National Portrait Society, and CASETA. According to the artist, "Really, my art is a way of sharing with other people what I've seen, and I enjoy it. More or less, I'm pointing at this and saying, well, look at this. This is very interesting."
