    NOTE:
    Étienne Hajdú's sculptures were introduced to American audiences through "The New Decade: 22 European Painters and Sculptors" show at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, in 1955. His sculptures were also exhibited alongside line drawings in "Sculptures and Drawings from 7 Sculptors" at the Guggenheim Museum in 1958, the same year he received his New York gallery debut at M. Knoedler & Company.




    Condition Report*: Mild oxidization to the base of the sculpture and on the undersides of each segment of the sculpture; cracks between the head of the work and other segments are inherent to the creation of the work; mild surface soiling.
