RAPTOR HAND CLAW

Kem-Kem Basin, near Taouz, K'Sar es Souk Province, Morocco
Found in the continental Sandstone Deposits of the Moroccan Sahara Desert near Taouz, this is the hand claw from what was perhaps the longest raptor. Slender, running donosaurs, they did not have the bulk of the contemporaneous Carcharodontosaurus, but are estimated to have grown up to 44 feet in length. This hand claw is in excellent condition with no restoration of any kind, and measures 3½ inches long.
