Case manufactured by International Silver Co. and engraved: LT. COM. BYRD'S EXPEDITION, NORTH POLE, 1926, (reverse) TRANS-OCEANIC Rodman Wanamaker AMERICA;
Framed airplane fabric with plaque: A piece of the fabric taken from the wing of the Giant Condor Plate "THE WILLIAM HORLICK" which was used in the Exploration Flights on the Second Byrd Antarctic Expedition;
Autograph album signed by a large number of support personnel of 1939 Antarctic Expedition including All good wishes to Joan, From a friend of her ____, R.E. Byrd;
Booklet on Antarctic expedition with loose signed page by R.E. Byrd;
Seating list for the banquet to honor The Commander and Crew of the "America" including Richard E. Byrd, Bertran Acosta, George Noville, Brent Balchen, and the Pilot of the "Columbia" Clarence Chamberlin.
