These two German automatons differ in quality of decoration and materials, but serve to entertain with animated singing birds. The larger cage is of solid gilt brass, while the smaller cage is painted metal. The bird in the larger cage sings while it's beak, head and tail move. Both cages are internally key-wound with on/off switches. A later plastic and oak dome is included, dome measures 13-1/4 x 9-1/8 inches.
