    The hand-loomed rectangular tapestry of silk thread in the 'four thread' pattern depicts a courting scene of a young man wooing a lady in a pastoral setting, a dog sits nearby, surrounding border of pink roses on a yellow ground; silk backing with a hanging pocket and rings together with a hand-loomed rectangular silk thread tapestry, the pattern created in single thread, partially open-weave with couching added for dimension, the image after the Polish painter David Nicholas Chadowiecski, a lady and gentleman chat in the background; both unmarked
    The Courting Scene: 60.5in. wide x 36.7in. high The Sitting Room: 37.3in. wide x 59.5in. high
