The cane with ivory handle carved as a donkey's head, set with brown glass eyes, tapered hardwood shaft with metal ferrule to tip.
Overall good condition, original in appearance, ivory has fine cracks from muzzle, under neck to ears, cracks do not effect aesthetics of handle Prospective purchasers are advised that the United States Dept. of Fish and Wildlife regulates the sale and exportation of property containing materials from endangered species, including but not limited to coral, ivory and tortoiseshell. It is advised that all bidders should familiarize themselves with relevant customs and CITES regulations prior to bidding, including restrictions related to intrastate transfer.
