    More Information:

A major figure in contemporary design and architecture, Ron Arad began his studies at the Jerusalem Art Academy and the Architectural Association in London.  In 1981, he founded "One Off" with Caroline Thorman, a London studio and gallery which featured Ron Arad's work along with the work of other contemporary designers.  The element of rareness in Arad's designs is something that he strives for with his choice of materials, unusual forms, and labor intensive processes required to make the pieces in the manner he envisions. He has designed furniture for Moroso, Kartell, and Vitra.   Ron Arad's work can be found in The Vitra Design Museum, Germany, The Museum of Modern Art, New York, and the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, among others.

    Estimate: $6,000 - $8,000.
