American industrial designer, dubbed "the dean of industrial design", Teague had a long association with Eastman Kodak to design cameras beginning in 1927.

He was responsible for the design of the iconic Texaco gas stations between 1934-37.  Teague designed many radios for the Sparton Corporation, the most impressive being the Bluebird which was made of blue tinted glass and intended for hotel lobbies.  In 1944, the Society of Industrial Designers named Teague as its first president.
