This extraordinary and enormous Uruguayan Amethyst Geode reveals a breathtaking interior lined with countless gem-quality Amethyst crystals, their deep violet tones embodying the richness and saturation for which Uruguay's deposits are world-renowned. At its heart lies a superbly formed Calcite crystal, measuring approximately 10 x 5.5 x 5 inches (25 x 14 x 13 cm), a rare and elegant contrast to the surrounding sea of Amethyst points. Distinguished by its dramatic, cave-like aperture, the geode invites the viewer into a natural cathedral of crystalline beauty. The outer edges have been expertly polished to reveal the delicate concentric bands of Agate encasing the interior, a testament to the slow geological artistry that formed it.
