This attractive combination specimen presents bright metallic Galena occurring in clusters and partial crystal groups, intergrown with brassy Pyrite and pale Calcite. The Galena forms the visual core of the piece, while the Calcite provides a lighter-toned framework around the sulphides. Tucked within the assemblage is a small but noticeable group of Fluorite crystals that add a subtle seafoam-green accent and additional mineralogical interest. Dan purchased this piece in December of 1967, directly from the mining site.
