Halite specimens from Searles Lake are among some of the more distinctive for the species, as many crystals exhibit pronounced hoppering and the locality's iconic floral pink coloration caused by algae trapped during crystal growth. This cabinet-sized specimen presents a dense cluster of deeply hoppered, translucent Halite crystals with a cubic habit, reaching up to 3.2 centimeters across. The crystal faces are further enhanced by spectacular skeletal detailing, adding a nice visual complexity throughout the specimen.
