Speckled across the top side and lining the several deep cavities of this three-dimensional specimen are hundreds of well-formed, stocky Wulfenite crystals. The Wulfenite stands out across the earthy limonitic matrix with a flashy luster and a rich butterscotch-orange color. Contrary to the more commonly seen tabular crystals, most, if not all of the crystals are slightly elongated and have prismatic shape, reaching up to 0.6 centimeters in length. White Calcite associations, isolated along the edge and throughout the specimen, provide a subtle contrast to the darker Wulfenite and matrix.
