Description
Polished Chrysocolla & Malachite SphereDR Congo
2.86 inches (7.26 cm) in diameter
Vivid shades of emerald green and electric blue swirl across this polished sphere, showcasing the striking association of Malachite and Chrysocolla from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Concentric Malachite banding, brecciated textures, and bright Chrysocolla-filled seams create an intricate mosaic of color and pattern that changes with every rotation. The expertly polished surface reveals remarkable depth within the mineral assemblage, from finely layered structures to bold patches of contrasting hues. Spherical carving allows the piece's complex natural artistry to be appreciated from all angles, highlighting the dynamic interplay between these two Copper-rich minerals. This captivating display specimen presents one of nature's most beautiful color combinations in a form that is both elegant and visually engaging.
