COLLECTION OF JONATHAN AND ELISE TAVSSBERGER
For a short period of time, Kii Arens opened up his studio, La La Land, for group shows around specific themes. Each one was an event, extending Kii's warm and high-energy personality. I was fortunate enough to get a sneak-peek in the afternoon before the HOT LUNCH show opening and had my pick. This lunch pail and thermos from Craig Simkins popped out and was quickly made a valued piece of our collection. It's attraction was not mine alone, as all guests voted for their favorite designs - with the top vote winner being reproduced in limited numbers by Dark Horse - and this one was the top vote getter. The other artists with reproductions in this series were Shag, Baseman, Niagara, Amanda Visell, Joe Ledbetter and Kii Arens.
