Be@rbricks are a form of collectible toy. The template for these bears are blocky arms and legs, and a traditional bear style head. Be@rbricks are designed and produced by Tokyo based Medicom Toy. Most are made of plastic, but as the company and its collaborations have evolved, other media like wood and metal have been introduced. These Be@rbricks comes in sizes ranging from 50% (smallest) to 1000% (largest). All Be@rbricks are limited edition and rarely released. They are categorized into series or types that include either basic, standard, artist, or secret.

Karl Lagerfeld, who recently passed away in February 2019, designed this Be@rbrick in 2006. These were originally used in Chanel window displays worldwide before becoming available in 2007 in a limited edition of 1000 for the Love Is Big, Love is Be@rbrick charity event in aid of the Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation. Brandishing Chanel's signature string of white pearls, tweed black suit, and a Camellia flower, this Be@rbrick is the most elusive and highly collectible Be@rbrick on the market. Its exclusivity appeals to Urban Art, fashion, and luxury collectors alike.
