A FRENCH LOUIS XVI-STYLE MARBLE, GILT AND PATINATED METAL DRUM

The amphora-form drum clock with rotating white enamel dials to the
top bordered with paste jewel bands, surmounted by a gilt metal
figural cupid, garland swag gilt mounts and serpent to the bottom
supported by a red marble fluted base with gilt acanthus leaf
decoration and gilt metal square base.
With a crack to the top of the marble base, loss of rhinestones to the border, minor loss to gilding and patination commensurate with age. Heritage does not guarantee the working order of movement.
