    The case having bonnet surmounted by figure of Victory, case heavily adorned with gilt bronze mounts of figureheads, caryatids, pomegranates, festoons, rams, and horses, all set against a faux-tortoiseshell ground with brass inlay, case raised on triangular wall bracket.

    Note: The boulle technique utilizes lacquer and this lot contains no tortoiseshell.

    Condition Report*: Some upturning and losses to few areas of brass inlay, some bronze mounts with later hardware, some age-related cracking and chipping to lacquer, minor verdigris spotting, sword to figure's hand to finial missing, some mount nails missing, chipping to margins of 5 and 9 hour plaques, glass pain with two cracks to upper left of tombstone, other replaced hardware, break at foot to Victory figure to finial, with wear commensurate with age and use. Lot includes pendulum and key. Heritage does not guarantee the working order or completeness of clock mechanisms.
