    The gilt bronze and marble mantel clock, with Guibet Lne a Paris inscribed to calendar ring, the two-train movement with silk suspension and outside count wheel set within a rectangular red jasper case, gilt bronze lambrequin frieze corned by drapery mounts supported by rectangular Corinthian columns, gilt bronze console decorated with masks and foliate motif centered by lapis medallion, surmounted by a pair of addorsed sphinxes, turned base with cast central cartouche featuring ovoid lapis cabochon, atop four toupie feet.

    Condition Report*: Presenting beautifully, with striking contrast between gilding and marble, minor stable professional restoration to underside, and barely visible professional restoration to marble. Heritage does not guarantee the completeness or working order of clock mechanisms.
