This platter was first exhibited at the Cleveland Museum of Art in 1937. Its reverse contains not only the label from its first exhibition in Cleveland, but a delightful collage of exhibition tags chronicling its display in subsequent museums and galleries which Viktor taped to the back. As he had for the platter he titled Abstract Still Life, Viktor used an American Limoges Manhattan shape for this piece, and hand-decorated it at home with a design in glazes. In his files he called this work a "Plaque."
