    Six Mintons Pâte-sur-Pâte Partial Gilt Porcelain Dessert Plates with Reticulated Edge, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, circa 1875
    Marks to reverse: (crown-over-globe) MINTONS, GILLMAN COLLAMORE & CO, 5TH AVE. & 30TH ST., NEW YORK
    Marks to pâte-sur-pâte: AM
    9-1/2 inches diameter (24.1 cm)

    The six plates each with reticulated gilt Greek key border, repeating gilt flourishes and bouquet trim, central cartouche depicting individual pâte-sur-pâte decoration with putti motif surrounded by gilt frame, cartouches with decorator marks AM, originally retailed by Gillman Collamore & Co, New York, New York.

    Note: Some pieces bear impressed British registration diamonds to reverse, with U letter date code.


    Condition Report*: Light crazing confined near reverse logo to one, light scuffing to undersides, bubble flaw to surface of one, very light scratching to some, presenting very well with strong, near mint gilding.
